If there will ever be a day when animation would be taken seriously by both the film industry and the general public, then this film should just disappear. Gone in the pit of obscurity that shares with other animated films of the same quality like Legends of Oz, Mars Needs Moms, and Space Chimps. Because like the previously mentioned, this is nothing more than cartoon junk.

AniMat:
It flopped so bad with both critics and audiences to the point that it led to the bankruptcy of Filmation, even if they tried desperately hard to milk everything it has with merchandise, a video game, and Chiq... Chiquita bananas? Seriously. If you own the VHS, the way the movie ends is by finishing the film, then comes a commercial to buy the toys,

Commercial announcer:
Muddy. [splat noise]

AniMat:
then an ad for the bananas, then finally, the credits roll. How the fridge do you screw up something as simple as placing your ads? I guess it's the same way you screw up your whole company.

AniMat:
Yes I know Kralahome is not an evil wizard, but neither was Rasputin, and yet nobody complained about his role in Don Bluth's Anastasia.

AniMat:
I'm looking at the IMDb page of this film, and I see that this movie has two directors and four writers. And yet not one came into production to say that this is possibly so messed up beyond belief?
