Biederbeck:
What kind of fiend are you?

Biederbeck:

Baker:

Biederbeck:

Baker:

Biederbeck:

Trout:
Every time we build a better mousetrap, Sir, Phibes just builds a better mouse!

Dr. Phibes:

Dr. Phibes:

Dr. Phibes:

Biederbeck:

Dr. Phibes:
Not me. The ancient artisans who built these chambers. When the gates are unlocked, the water from Diana's pool will drain out and she will be free. Save her, don't be a fool. Soon it will be too late.

Biederbeck:

Dr. Phibes:

Biederbeck:

Dr. Phibes:
I call on you once more Vulnavia, come my trusted aide.

Dr. Phibes:
Thank you, my dear, for answering my call. Upstairs, in my safe, is a most precious map of papyrus. The way to a pharaoh's tomb! Beneath which flows, each two thousand years, the River of Life. We must make haste and find the river at its flood

Trout:
But no one's ever gotten the better of Phibes sir. To our uncertain knowledge he's already killed fifteen men. You can't hope to win!

Dr. Anton Phibes:

Dr. Phibes:

Trout:

Waverly:

Biederbeck:

Diana:
I am aware of that. I've drunk plenty of tea in Mayfair without finding dead bodies at my feet.

Biederbeck:

Waverley:

Stewart:

Baker:

Stewart:

Baker:

Dr. Phibes:

I don't know about his body, but I think we should give his head a decent burial.

Biederbeck:
Phibes! I beg of you, let me come with you! Phibes, for once have mercy!

Biederbeck:
Phibes!

Dr. Phibes:
So, at last we meet Beiderbeck.

Biederbeck:
Where's Diana?

Dr. Phibes:
Waiting, as well all must wait.

Dr. Phibes:
Oh what happy times of years ago I think of Victoria. It won't be long now, soon you will be moving, breathing. Thy in my arms again and I in yours.

Dr. Phibes:
So once more I have been forced to kill for you Victoria. Only that you may live again my noble wife.

Dr. Phibes:
No force in all the world can stop us now!

Trout:
We're looking for a mad man sir.

Lombardo, Shipping Agent:
Well, you've bloody well found one! Do you realize this is Saturday afternoon?

Trout:
We could search the mountain...

Waverly:
Trout, one needs a warrant to search, you should know that by now.

Trout:

Waverly:
We can't just storm into someone else's mountain, this isn't Hyde Park you know.

Biederbeck:

Dr. Anton Phibes:

Biederbeck:
No. For years I've searched. The temple of Abiskis, the river of life, it's MINE Phibes.

Dr. Anton Phibes:

Biederbeck:

Dr. Anton Phibes:

Well if it's anything like now it's going to be bloody awful.

Dr. Phibes:

We shall embark to the land of Egypt, where years ago I did prepare for us a wondrous shrine. Trout:
Phibes must have used that storm last night as cover.

Waverly:
Used it? He probably summoned it!

Dr. Anton Phibes:
Here where mystic lines converge, we shall find the door way which seperates the living from the dead!

Dr. Phibes:
No! While I slept in sweet oblivion, who dared destroy my house? The safe. Could it still be here?

Dr. Phibes:
What fiend has taken it? Only one who seeks eternal life as I do... Beiderbeck!

Trout:
But you haven't got a chance!

Waverly:
He'll chop you down like the rest of them!

Biederbeck:
I'm not like the rest of them! Phibes may put the fear of God in you, but not me. Now stay out of my way!
