Davy Mitchell:
[reading] But that was all still to come in Maggie's den. The silence on the phone hissed and rumbled and crashed in my ear. It was the silence I still hear. Always in the middle of the night, when I'm walking down an empty highway. Or rolling across the center of the lake. Or holed-up in the last darkened Amtrak car, looking out the window at the distant twinkling lights. Some call it longing, but I call it silence. That night though, on the phone, I heard my brother's voice. Hello? Hello? Anthony! Hello?

Josie:
So you're just two brothers in a car, armed with only your talents. The dark, lonely, and endless road stretched out in front of you. No limits, no limitations, just whatever you want, whenever you want?

Davy Mitchell:
Yeah, it's just like that, only much less exciting.

Davy Mitchell:
Why aren't you with him right now, rather than pretending to be with me?

Davy Mitchell:
I sound like an a**hole, don't I?

Samantha:
A conscience a**hole is hardly an a**hole.
