Much to her surprise, she and her two-dimensional date went viral. On June 4th, nearly a month later, Rob McElhenney, co-star and Executive Producer of the hit comedy show "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," posted a picture of the real-life Danny DeVito posing with a cardboard cutout of Closs on the set of the show with the caption, "Hey Allison- I heard you took cardboard Danny to Prom. What a coincidence. He took cardboard Allison to Paddy's..." This once again garnered massive media attention and solidified Closs as a viral sensation.
