Author's bio:*Required Selahattin Demirtaş is the co-chairman of the pro-Kurdish People's Democracy Part (HDP) in Turkey. He was born to a Zaza speaking Kurdish family in 1973 and is a lawyer. He was elected as chairman for BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) in 2010 which was converted to HDP in 2012.
