Major Bill Rogers:
[to Jenny] You think I'm a killer, don't you?

Sister Jenny Miller:
Hmm, you mean as it stands, they don't know who you are?

Major Bill Rogers:
They don't even know I'm in England, but when they do know, well, I'm trapped, I'm washed up, I'm locked up! That's why I've got less than 36 short hours to clear myself and find who killed Katie and a lot of other things!

Major Bill Rogers:
I've got a club membership card. It's got both our signatures on it. You can copy from the original.

Sister Jenny Miller:
She wrote beautifully.

Major Bill Rogers:
She did everything beautifully.

Harry Cross, desk clerk:
Well, what d'ya want?

Major Bill Rogers:
Let's start off with a clean shirt. I realize it's highly improbable to expect you to have a clean shirt, but I need one.

Harry Cross, desk clerk:
Hey, you can't talk to me like that. You've got to get out of h... [he glimpses Rogers' gun]... here. [pointing very nervously] Um, there's a shirt there.

Orville Hart:
[laughs] Why don't you cry? It's always easier to talk terms to a woman when she's crying.

Sister Jenny Miller:
[he looks at her lecherously] I never could believe anybody could be so low!

Major Bill Rogers:
Just a minute, let's get this straight. Who are you?

Henry Slosson:
Henry Slosson.

Major Bill Rogers:
And your uncle? What's he done so bad that Orville can shake him down?

Henry Slosson:
He's a terrible man. My life has been corrupted and dirtied by him! He deals in every shady business in the gutter of mankind!

Major Bill Rogers:
[to Slosson] Henry's a weakling. You probably made him that way!
