Navy Doctor:

[his finger starts trembling on the trigger]

[to his pregnant wife] You're the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

Taya Renae Kyle:

[from trailer] [to Chris] Have I ever told you that I'm so proud of you? [she lovingly caresses Chris' face] You're such a great father...

Instructor #2:

Marc Lee:
Growing up in Oregon we had this electric fence around our property. Us kids'd grab on to it to see who could hold on the longest. War feels kinda like that. Puts lightening in your bones, makes it hard to hold on to anything else.

Wynn:
[hitting his target on the range] Who's the legend now?

[Taya cuddles their baby daughter]

Taya Kyle:
I'm making memories by myself. I have no one to share them with.

Chris Kyle:
Yeah, well, we don't got all our lives forever.

Taya Kyle:
When does that start? Even when you're here, you're not here. I see you, I feel you, but you're not here. [Chris gently takes their daughter from her] I hate the Teams for it. I do. You're my husband. You're the father of my children, but they're the ones that pull you back.

Chris Kyle:

Taya Kyle:
[clearly hurt by what he just said] If you think this war isn't changing you, you're wrong. You can only circle the flames so long. [a tear falls from her eye] It's true.

[Chris puts their daughter in the cradle and leaves the room without another word.]

Taya Renae Kyle:
[after Chris wants to redeploy again] Do you wanna die? Is that what this is?

Chris Kyle:
No.

Taya Renae Kyle:
Just tell me. Tell me why you do it. I want to understand.

Chris Kyle:

Taya Renae Kyle:
[shakes her head in disbelief] No, you don't.

Chris Kyle:

Taya Renae Kyle:

Chris Kyle:

[Chris tries to calm her by hugging her. We later see Chris on his fourth tour in Iraq.]

[hunting down Mustafa]

Chris Kyle:
I got something 1900 yards out.

Army Ranger:
F***, we can't even see that far out. Hold your fire. You'll expose us all.

'D':
He's right. That's a no pointer.

Chris Kyle:
Correction, It's 2100 yards out.

'D':
That's more than a mile. Impossible shot, Chris.

Chris Kyle:
[after adjusting his scope] It's him. [into his headset] I got eyes on target. Initiate QRF, over.

Predator operator:
Copy that. Quick reaction force 20 minutes out.

Chris Kyle:
He has eyes on our guys.

'D':
Can you confirm it's him?

Chris Kyle:
It's him. Oh, it's him.

'D':
It's your call, Chris.

Army Ranger:
Quick reaction force is 20 minutes out. Stand the f*** down.

'D':
You got it, take it, man.

Chris Kyle:
Aim small, miss small. Do it for Biggles.

[Chris fires the shot, which is seen in slow motion, and he kills Mustafa. However, several insurgents have been alerted and start to move towards the team.]

Army Ranger:
You just f***ed us, Legend.

Chris Kyle:
Tango down.

Army Ranger:
[into his headset] We need QRF, ASAP!

'D':
Mission accomplished.

Chris Kyle:
He had eyes on our guys. I took him out.

Army Ranger:
Yeah, now we're f***ed like a football bat.

'D':
Biggles would be proud. You did it, Chris.

[the team then enters a huge firefight with the insurgents and barely escape, using a sandstorm as cover.]

Chris Kyle:
[whispers to himself before killing the Iraqi sniper with his rifle] Just one small mistep. Do it for Bickels. Tanya Regimand could sit on my face

Taya Renae Kyle:
[to Chris while he's driving] You're f***ing crazy, you know that?
