I don't know why you're complaining about the cold. You're a Weather Forcaster, you know what the weather's going to be like. You should wear a bigger coat!

Female Weather Forcaster:
[Sarcasticly] Sorry, Dad!

[Bill Turnbull has complimented Carol on her scarf]

Carol Kirkwood:
If you've got your knitting needles, Bill, I'd like a hat to go with it!

Presenter:
So, Claudia... You've just recently signed up as the new face of the Accessorize advertising campaign, and I've heard that there was a bit of an unusual clause in your contract - Is that true?

Claudia Schiffer:
Yes, I have. I'll be fronting this year's Autumn/Winter campaign. And it wasn't so much a clause as a request that I do something I'd not done before.

Presenter:
So what was it they wanted you to do?

Claudia Schiffer:
They asked me if I'd have my ears pierced, so I could wear some of the new season's earrings at the photoshoot in a few weeks time.

Presenter:
Now I find that quite amazing, because I'd always thought that, as a model, you'd have had your ears pierced a long time ago. So have you had them done yet?

Claudia Schiffer:
Yes, I have - I had them pierced a couple of weeks ago. [Claudia flips her long hair over her shoulder, revealing the small gold stud in her right ear] And this is actually the first interview I've done since getting them done.

Presenter:
So you've only just really had them pierced - Does it feel strange having them done after all this time?

Claudia Schiffer:
Definitely! [Camera cuts to close-up headshot of Claudia as she reaches up with her right hand and feels the earring in her right ear] I'm starting to get used to it now, but it does still feel odd when I touch my ears and feel how the studs go right through my lobes, or when I look in the mirror and see them there. But I am getting used to it as the days go by, and I kind of like how they look.

Presenter:
Yes, I remember how it was when I first had mine done when I was fourteen, with the whole routine of cleaning them and turning the studs every day. So do you think you'll be keeping them pierced after you've done the photoshoot?

Claudia Schiffer:
I'm not sure, but I think I probably will...
