Black Jack:

Black Jack:

Pinoko:
Hey, what are these? [passes him a pair of dogtags]

Black Jack:

[watching a movie at the cinema]

Pinoko:
[crying] I was hoping they would end up together... [sees Black Jack has fallen asleep]

Pinoko:
Hmph... I should have known. He does that every time!

Black Jack:
Everything okay, Pinoko? Or should I say Sigourney?

Pinoko:
Doctor, mind your own business!

Black Jack:
I had a very strange dream... I wish I could remember what it was...

[Black Jack finds a seed in his house]

Tree:
[speaking] Black Jack, I have lived for over two thousand years. And now, my life begins anew... [the seed sprouts]

[Pinoko brings in a pile of letters]

Pinoko:
Hey, are all these IOUs yours? [Black Jack gazes at the letters, amused]

Pinoko:
[exasperated] I shouldn't have expected you to remember... I'll throw them out! [Black Jack quickly grabs the letters]

Black Jack:
Sorry, those are important to me. Good night.

Black Jack:
Even though I was too late to save this case, I learned a valuable lesson: no matter how well one wields a person's scalpel, it can't cut away a person's soul. And if such a scalpel existed, I would be the first in line to place several orders for them.

Black Jack:
