Abigail Martin:
[to Robert] When I think of the things they didn't tell me in Vermont!

Simon Fenimore:
[to Charles] The planes are all grounded, the trains won't do you any good, and you're too big for me to carry on piggy bank.

Robert Manette:
[to Mrs. Manette] What are you doing? You're not to go through my pockets!

Abigail Martin:
Robert, where did you get all that money?

Abigail Martin:
[to Charles] Those days whenever I had half a dollar that didn't belong to the butcher, the landlady or the street car company, I'd go to a concert.

Abigail Martin:
[voice over narration] All I know is Robert was the only thing in the world she cared about. He wasn't just her son. He was her everything.

Abigail Martin:
