The most important meal to Rob Reiner is dinner because this man always had a dinner. When "North" was not accepted in some circles... like the Earth, Rob had a dinner. When he decided in "The Ghosts of Mississippi" to make James Woods look even more like a f***ing reptile, there's an idea, Rob had a dinner.

Jeffrey Ross:
Your former castmate Sally Struthers couldn't be here tonight, but she did send three bags of grain.

Billy Crystal:
When the Friars decided to honor you, Rob, do you know why?

Rob Reiner:
Why? Tell me!

Billy Crystal:
I'll tell you. It's because of your films. Films that make you think, they make you think "What the hell am I doing here?"

Billy Crystal:
Rob has become a major, major, wonderful political activist, which is a code name for unemployed movie director. He's now Mr. Inside Politics. You see him all over, doing great things. He calls the President "Bill", he calls the Vice President "Al" and he calls "Domino's" five times a week!

Billy Crystal:
What I respect most about Rob is his deep, almost suspicious love for kids and he freely gives them his time, his money, whatever it takes to get them into the van!
