At the end of the war, 92,000 Pakistani soldiers returned home, 60,000 Indian defense personnel also returned. But 54 Indian soldiers remained unaccounted for. After nearly 33 years, their families are still waiting for their return. Ranvir Kaul (Amitabh Bachchan) is one of the many prisoners stuck in Pakistan. Gaurav (Akshaye Khanna) is the devoted son of Ranvir and is a man on a mission. He travels to Pakistan and struggles to find a way to rescue his father and assigns the help of Khan (Sanjay Dutt).
