Detention

Detention

Airdate: 05/11/08 Changes in immigration laws since 9/11 have put three times as many immigrants into detention centers, where they await their hearings or deportation. Underfunded and over-populated, these detention centers aren't able to provide adequate health care to the detainees, and some are dying because of it. In one case, a man died of cancer after repeatedly pleading for medical care during his 10 months in detention. Scott Pelley investigates. This product is manufactured on demand using DVD-R recordable media. Amazon.com's standard return policy will apply.
