Ghost Town

Ghost Town

Oregon ghost towns, like many in the western United States are fading away, victims of a hundred years of harsh winters and neglect. Some, however, refuse to die because residents are restoring the towns to take advantage of the tourist trade. We invite you to join us on a road trip through Oregon visiting towns and sites that are becoming just memories, as well as some that have seen "new life" which we call..."living ghost towns". We'll also provide a glimpse into the lives of the early pioneers. Our journey takes us from the eastern Oregon gold fields, through central Oregon, The Columbia River Gorge, Portland, south to near the California border, as well as the central and northern Oregon Coast. All of the towns and sites in this video are accessible by 2WD and recreational vehicles.
