[about "Reverend" Reed]

Colton White:

Colton White:
Damn! We can't get to the steamboat without showing ourselves to the fort.

Soapy Jennings:

Colton White:
Don't want 'em to know we're here. [there is a click, and a gun is pointed at Soapy's head]

Soapy Jennings:
Too late.

Mayor Hoodoo Brown:
I'M HOODOO BROWN! [Gets shot out the window]

Colton White:
You were.

Reverend Josiah Reed:
[to Sadie] Tell me where it is, you wanton whore, and you will save the lives of everyone on this boat!

[she slaps him and runs away]

Reverend Josiah Reed:
Thy will be done!

[he throws a tomahawk at her and it sticks in the back of her head pinning her umbrella to her head]

[last lines]

[Magruder's leg is trapped beneath a rock, the cave is collapsing]

Colton White:
I'd like to shoot you in the teeth, but that'd be too kind. Reckon instead I'll take my knife and whittle you some like you did Soapy. Then slit your throat like you did Jenny.

[picks up the cross]

Colton White:
Or maybe I'll take this cross and jam it in your good eye and watch you twitch. But none of that will bring back my Ma and Pa, or all those villagers you massacred, nor Ned who raised me as his own.

[a rumbling is heard]

Thomas MacGruder:
Did you hear that? You hear that?

Colton White:
So long, Major. Give the Devil my regards.

[tosses him the cross and begins to climb the rocks]

Thomas MacGruder:
Wait! Oh Jesus, it's coming down! Get back here, you can't leave me like this! Get back here! I can make it worth your while! Damn you! You're never gonna make it! You'll never make it!

[a rock becomes dislodged and falls towards MacGruder]

Thomas MacGruder:
Nooo-!

[he is crushed; Many Wounds helps Colton escape as the mine collapses]

Colton White:
Now our fathers can rest in peace.

[first lines]

Colton White:
[voice-over] Montana, 1880. My name is Colton White. My father and I hunt game for the riverboats coming up the Missouri. It's not a bad living, if you can stand getting kicked awake every dawn.

[after Colton kills a grizzly bear attacking Ned]

Ned White:
Another tick or two, and you'd have been putting me to bed with a pick and shovel.

Colton White:
You're too damn ornery to die.

Ned White:
Well, it prides me that it's rubbed off on you plenty. Always remember, son, in this world sheer cussedness will carry you farther than a Comanche's pony.

Thomas MacGruder:
Well, Reverend? Were my orders carried out?

Reverend Josiah Reed:
With a vengeance.

Thomas MacGruder:
And the missing item?

Reverend Josiah Reed:
It... couldn't be recovered, sir.

Thomas MacGruder:
[shouts] You failed me?

Reverend Josiah Reed:
No, sir! The whore had it stowed inside the safe, and it sank to the bottom of the river-!

[Magruder nods to his bodyguard, who seizes Reed's neck and forces his head down onto the desk]

Thomas MacGruder:
Failure was not an option.

[He opens a razor]

Thomas MacGruder:
The price must be paid.

[he begins to slice off Reed's ear]

[Colton sees Ned's rifle on Hollister's saddle]

Colton White:
That's a fine-looking rifle. Ho'd you come by it?

Hollister:
Pried it from the cold, dead hands of an Indian-loving fool.

Hollister:
Only two kinds of white men in these parts, soldiers and outlaws. And since I see no blue, I'm guessing you two are on the run. Until I figure out which, you'll be my guests. Now, let's have your guns.

Thomas MacGruder:
[Dutchie drops Reed's bloodied collar onto Magruder's desk] The item? Did he get that too? [Dutchie nods] Put a price on that kid's head. I don't care how much. I want every bounty hunter, every mercenary, every damn snake in the western territories looking for that son-of-a-b*tch! No one is going to stand in the way of my destiny, you understand? No one! Not the federal government, not the Apaches, and not some pissant kid with a six-gun!

[Reed is defeated, and tries to run. Colton shoots him in the leg, and he falls]

Reverend Josiah Reed:
Ah, my leg! You can't kill me, I'm unarmed! You kill me, and your soul will be as cursed as mine...!

[Colton jams his rifle into Reed's mouth]

Colton White:
This is for Jenny.

Thomas MacGruder:
[at the intro video] Our father, who art in heaven. Hallow be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done.

[last lines]

Colton White:

Thomas MacGruder:
