Jake Foley:
It's a wedding.

Louise Beckett:
You're still at risk.

Jake Foley:
From what? Drunken Bridesmaids? I woke up this morning with guns in my face. What's next? Sidearmed chaperones? Permission to go potty?

Executive Director Valerie Warner:
Excuse me, Mr. Foley. How long did you cling to the undercarriage of Ms. Harrison's car?

Jake Foley:
Two, maybe two and a half hours.

Executive Director Valerie Warner:
That's impressive.

Miles Jennings:
[whispering to Skerritt] Imagine that kind of power in the hands of a properly trained agent.

Jake Foley:
Yeah, imagive that. [Jennings and Skerritt are shocked]

Jake Foley:
[sarcastically] Nanohearing.

Louise Beckett:
Can I, uh, offer you a glass of water or a cup of coffee?

Jake Foley:
Are you joking? I have millions of these little things running around in my body that might kill me at any moment. I have spent the last couple of days running for my life getting shot at because of these little things that might kill me at any moment. So, do I want a cup of coffee? No, I don't want a cup of coffee. You know what I want? I want my life back.

Louise Beckett:
I'm afraid we can't do that, Jake.

Jake Foley:
[sarcastically] Yeah, yeah. Big surprise.

Louise Beckett:
What I can do is upgrade your security clearance. Effective immediately.

Jake Foley:
Yeah. What?

Jake Foley:
You know, this whole thing's really weird, 'cause... 'cause I come home from work one day, and all my stuff's packed up in boxes, and my roommate's been transferred out of the country, and then I'm forced to come live here, 'cause it's supposedly a more secure location above Luigi's Deli... you smell that? I do. Twenty-four hours a day.

Jake Foley:
Okay, now that I do want to kill you, I'm too tired.

Shinji Makito:
And I am too exhausted to die.
