Loving You
The title of the shounen-ai (boys-love) broadcast series Sukisho! (2005) comes from a phrase that means roughly "I like what I like, so there!" Sora Hashiba returns to his all-boys high school suffering from memory lapses after a fall from a fourth-story window. He takes an immediate dislike to his new roommate, Sunao Fujimori, but inside Sora and Sunao are the lovers Yuro and Ran; these alter-egos don't always appear at the same time, which produces some complicated misunderstandings. As their regular selves, Sora and Sunao have to cope with a thief disguised as Tuxedo Mask from Sailor Moon and the ghost of a boy with a crush on Sora. They're also plagued by energetic dorm captain Matsuri, who assigns them embarrassing jobs. Sukisho is an odd program, and the characters are drawn with a kind of plush-toy cuteness unlike the fey elegance of standard bishonen (beautiful boys).
