Annie Rooney:
[while discussing the play 'Pygmalion'] I think one of the characters is on the dippy side.

Annie Rooney:
Dad, we mustn't talk shop. After all, Marty isn't in the rubber business.

Rooney:
Why, one look at him and I can tell he has rubber in his blood.

Joey:
Too bad you had to miss an Engine Show just for a birthday party.

Annie Rooney:
Come on gate! Let's circulate

Rooney:

Marty:
I don't want to butt in, but I don't think you have a Chinaman's chance.

Joey:
Well, the Chinese are doing all right, ain't they?

Joey:
Hi, sugarpuss!

Annie Rooney:
Hi, superman! Come on in.

Myrtle:
Why, when he talks about connecting rods and clutch plates, he's positively symphonic!

Myrtle:
You know, you can do almost anything with a hairpin.

Annie Rooney:
That's what I adore about Spring. It's so uncertain. Sunshine and tears.

Annie Rooney:
I was just thinking of what a tremendous difference a year makes. I know I must have been definitely ridiculous at 13.

Annie Rooney:
Oh, I've known Joey for centuries.

Grandpop:
May you be in Heaven half-an-hour before the Devil finds out you're dead.

Rooney:
How much would it cost?

Annie Rooney:
Oh, millions. [sighs] It's sorry to even think of it.

Myrtle:
Well, if anything sensational should happen, send up a flare. I'll be right over. But don't brood on it. Things like this can create the most ghastly inhibitions.

Mr. White:
Now you're cooking with gas!

Annie Rooney:
