Lt. Evans:
You know somethin' - this whole things a gag. Kimble took this stunt out of one of his own stories, only in the book, the murdered guy talked into a Dictaphone.

Patricia Kelly:
And in the book, did the police solve the murder?

Lt. Evans:
[disgusted] Pat, you're going to drive me right to my grave.

Patricia Kelly:
Well, it's better than having to walk.

Lt. Evans:
I wonder if I have everything

Patricia Kelly:
Everything except the meaning of those clues.

Lt. Evans:
Don't worry your blonde pretty little head. I'll get it.

Patricia Kelly:
Well, you better. Kimble said he'd be watching you from heaven... but if you don't get it, I'll ask him when I get there.

Lt. Evans:

You know, it's part of my job to keep the public informed what this office is doing, so this time I'm going to tell you about the case of "The Man Who Wasn't There" or at least as much as I know about the case - there's still a lot to be filled in.

Stephen Allen - Public Prosecutor:
[to Lt. Evans] Well, so far we have nothing to go on but our boyish enthusiasm. What do you say we take a look at that apartment?

Stephen Allen - Public Prosecutor:
I thought it was the address to Zernie's hideout.

Lieutenant Evans:

Jerome O. Kendrick:

Eve Aldridge:
