Grigori Rasputin:
When I go to confession I don't offer God small sins, petty squabbles, jealousies... I offer him sins worth forgiving!

Doctor:

Innkeeper:
And if she doesn't, doctor?

Doctor:
Send for the priest.

Innkeeper:
Oh God.

Doctor:
Nothing more I can do.

Grigori Rasputin:
Landlord.

Vassily's Father:
There is sickness in the house.

Grigori Rasputin:
I can see that. Nothing a few litres of wine won't put right.

The Bishop:
Have you anything to say in your defense?

Grigori Rasputin:
I was attacked. I defended myself.

The Bishop:
I am not refering to this. [reveals severed hand] That's a mess for the civil authorities.

Grigori Rasputin:
During the time that I've been here, you've tried to teach me that confession of my sins is good for the soul.

The Bishop:
Well?

Grigori Rasputin:
You also tried to remove all temptations from us so that there's no chance of any sin here. I've merely tried to put that right.

Dr. Zargo:
He won't die. He is the devil. I've tried to kill him, but he won't die.

Grigori Rasputin:
I only know I have this power. I have always had this power. I can feel it burning within me, driving me on. It is here inside me. It is in my hands. And I warn you, I warn you all that I, Grigory Yefimovich Rasputin, intend to use it. The power is mine and I will continue to use it as I please.

Peter:

Grigori Rasputin:
