Ted McKeever:
This is skydiving, controlled flight without wings - even for experts, the most dangerous game going. This jump, like every jump you will see on this series, is made by a highly trained man who is playing the game for the highest stakes there are - his own life. He has one, and only one, safety device at his command... his parachute and its ripcord.

Ted McKeever:
(Alternate narration heard at the beginning of some episodes) This is the most danger packed show on television. Every jump, every aerial maneuver is real. Photographed just as it happened, without tricks or illusion. All that stands between the jumper and death is his ripcord.

Dana Oliver:
Well, Mr. McKeever, can you do it or can't you?

Ted McKeever:
We'll know in a minute. I still think it's silly.

Dana Oliver:
You said you could drop a crate of eggs on solid concrete and never crack a shell. Isn't that what you said, Mr. McKeever?

Ted McKeever:
Yeah, that's what I said. Now we'll see if we can do it.

[first lines]

Ted McKeever:
[narrating] Dropping cargo is usually a matter of preparation and calculation. If you've figured air speed and rate of drop correctly and if the wind cooperates, it's pretty easy to put the package where you want it. I say usually because there was nothing usual about this drop.

Jim Buckley:
Pardon me, has Ted McKeever jumped yet?

Pretty Woman at Skydiving Competition:
Yes, he has.

Jim Buckley:
Well, then maybe you could tell me the way to the swimming pool?

Pretty Woman at Skydiving Competition:
Well, the shortcut is through the clubhouse. Just follow the line of casualties.

Jim Buckley:
You're still upright.

Pretty Woman at Skydiving Competition:
I'm one of the walking wounded.

[three bathing beauties are admiring Larry's physique as he prepares to leap off the high-diving board]

First Bathing Beauty:
I love older men.

Second Bathing Beauty:
Him Tarzan.

Third Bathing Beauty:
Me Jane.

[Larry flops inelegantly into the swimming pool]

First Bathing Beauty:
Very funny.

Second Bathing Beauty:
Ha-ha.

Third Bathing Beauty:
Me still Jane.
