September 11: The New Pearl Harbor

Another 15.000 have been confirmed ill with toxic inhalation-related diseases. Thousands will die in the next 10 years.

Michael Moore:
I was doing a film down there before, at the Pentagon, before 9/11. There's at least a hundred video cameras, ringing that building, in the trees, everywhere. They've got that plane coming in in a hundred angles. I want to see the video... I want to see a hundred videos that exist of this. Why don't they want us to see that plane coming into the building?

Norman Mineta - Secretary of Transportation:
During the time with the airplane coming in to the Pentagon, there was a young man who would come in and say to the vice president, "The plane is 50 miles out." "The plane is 30 miles out." And when he got down to "The plane is 10 miles out," the young man also said to the vice president, "Do the orders still stand?" And the vice president turned and whipped his neck around and said, "Of course the orders still stand! Have you heard anything to the contrary?"

Narrator:
Unable to dissolve the discrepancy, the 9/11-Comission took a series of dramatic steps. Firstly, they simply excluded Mineta's testimony from the final report.
