Mr. Conductor:

Billy Twofeathers:

Mr. Conductor:

Tex Boy:
[Referring to Didi] That girl's got it bad.

Rex Boy:
Yeah, and that ain't good.

Tex Boy:

Rex Boy:
Yeah... huh?

Tex Boy:
While she's all lovey dovey with Mr. C, I can eat her toast! [Tex and Rex laugh]

Kit Twofeathers:
Nobody cares if I'm on the team. Nobody even wants me here.

Max Okowsky:
So, you're gonna run away?

Kit Twofeathers:
You can talk! You were Most Valuable Player, and you quit!

Max Okowsky:
No, I didn't quit. I ran away, just like you're doing.

Kit Twofeathers:
You're like my uncle, you know that? Why is everyone always telling me what to do? It'd be different if my father was still alive.

Max Okowsky:
I'm sure that's the truth, Kit. But, he isn't. You know, even after my father died, I kept looking for him in the stands. I figured if I could just see him sitting there, I'd be able to hit again.

Kit Twofeathers:
That's why you stopped playing? Because your father died?

Max Okowsky:
No. I stopped because I was afraid. I was afraid that I had missed my timing and couldn't hit anymore. Afraid I'd let my teammates down. So, instead of trying to work it out, I took the easy way and ran.

Kit Twofeathers:
That's different, I don't even belong here! By the way, I brought your ball back. [hands the ball to Max] Guess the magic didn't work for me, either.

Max Okowsky:
What'd you expect? Magic has to come from here first, Kit. [Points at his heart] Come on, give the team a second chance. Give yourself a second chance... before your chances run out.

Kit Twofeathers:
Too late. I'm going. It's been nice knowing you.

Max Okowsky:
Kit, if you think nobody wants you here, think again. Think about your uncle.

Max Okowsky:

Kit Twofeathers:
[Turning around suddenly] Did you say something?

Max Okowsky:
I said you've got a heck of an arm. Don't mind the voice, it's rusty. I don't talk to people that often.

Kit Twofeathers:

Max Okowsky:
I thought you ought to hear what I have to say.

Stacy Jones:
[Upon hearing the news of the Scooters winning another game] Oh, this is so wonderful! I'm gonna get us all a treat to celebrate!

J.B. King Esquire:
Not so fast, they still have to defeat one more team.

Schemer:
One more team? One more team? Bring 'em on! We'll wipe the field with them! I'm telling you, we are so good right now, we could beat ourselves. [the Scooters cheer] So, so, who is this, this, this chump of a team that we are going to defeat?

Midge Smoot:

Schemer:
Oh, the Snarlyville... [suddenly shocked and panicky] Snarlyville? The Snarlyville Slashers?

Felix Perez:

Midge Smoot:
They're just a team.

Ginny:

Schemer:
[regaining composure] Yes, that's true, though. Yes. Yes. They're not any better than me. You know what we're gonna do? We're gonna make so many runs around them we're gonna get dizzy, that'w what we're gonna do! [Sledgebolt walks up behind him] You know what we're gonna do...?

Sledgeholt:

Schemer:
[petrified] It's... it's... It's Luke... It's Luke... [Sledgebolt turns to show his name on the back of his jersey] Sledgebolt! The big, big, big, big coach of the Snarlyville Slashers. You know what we're gonna do? [Walks over to a bench] We're gonnafind ourselves a bench. [kisses the bench, then sits on it in a fetal position] Good bench. Then, we're gonna sit on this bench in a little tiny ball, rolled up, until Halloween. Goodbye!
