[against the advice of his men, Mike agrees to an assignation with his lieutenant's girlfriend]

Cpl. Luis Delgado:
Women.

Cpl. Pierre Molier:
Women.

[two beautiful women stroll past]

Cpl. Luis Delgado, Cpl. Pierre Molier:
Women!

[Mike and his men have been thrown in prison where they are served bread and water]

Londos:
The sergeant is an honored guest here. He's welcome to my breakfast. Anybody's welcome to my breakfast.

Sgt. Mike Kincaid:
Tell me something, Henry. Do you really love the Lieutenant or did you marry him for his money?

Roshko:
We were the best burglars of the Left Bank, my little Mouse and me. We gotta expand. We'll rob the Right Bank, too.

Sgt. Mike Kincaid:
I'm planning to hit the Riffs and keep them running in circles for five days. I don't care if we do it because we want to be heroes or free men. The main reason we're going to do it is we have no other choice. And just one other thing: each man has got to depend on the next man. I'm going to see to it that the next man doesn't let him down.

Mahla:
My father, does my marriage still distress you?

Sheik Ben Allal:
Not your marriage - your husband.

Londos:
What about her, Sarge?

Sgt. Mike Kincaid:
Untie her, but don't let her out of your sight.

Londos:
Look at her eyes! Look how she hates - she hates like I hate. Wonderful!

[Mahla pulls the gag from her mouth]

Mahla:
You filthy swine!

Londos:
Ah, my little cucuch. She hates just as well with her voice as much as her eyes. She's a real woman - she hates with everything!

[Mike and Pierre steal a horse from Hussin's camp]

First Riff Warrior:
He swallowed the bait, Master.

Second Riff Warrior:
They will lead us to Mahla.

Caid Hussin:
Follow them, we will be a mile behind you. If they discover your presence, I'll lighten your heavy feet over a slow fire.

Sgt. Mike Kincaid:
You're tough, baby. I like that. But not too tough - I like that too.

Mouse:
Do you think he has an even chance to keep them off us... and still get through?

Roshko:
With him, the chance is always better than even.

Cpl. Luis Delgado:
They're being called to the wedding, Mike.

Cpl. Pierre Molier:
The way she looked at you, I don't think she wants to marry him.

Sgt. Mike Kincaid:
She'll go through with it. She gave her oath.

Lustig:
Sarge, you're not thinking of stealing her again?

Mouse:
Come on, Mike! We got to get back to Tarfa!

Kurt:
Yes! The regiment is back.

Lustig:
How 'bout it, Sarge?

Sgt. Mike Kincaid:
You boys go ahead. I'm going to a wedding.

Cpl. Pierre Molier:
We can't let him go to a wedding like that.

Cpl. Luis Delgado:
The least we can do is to get him a Riff outfit. Hey, Mike!

Roshko:
I don't know Little Mouse. I haven't been invited.

Mouse:
That's OK, Roshko. I invite you.

Kurt:
Weddings always make me cry.

Lustig:
That I gotta see.

Caid Hussin:
[preparing to have Sgt. Kincaid tortured with red-hot irons] I imagine it'll be dawn before you finally die. I should like to watch your entire performance, to the very end.

Sgt. Mike Kincaid:
It may not be all you hope for.
