Mrs. Aylwood:
[to unseen presence in the woods] She's going to stay here. Is that what you wanted?

Jan Curtis:
Mom said she'd only be a minute.

Paul Curtis:
Yeah, well that means ten.

Mrs. Aylwood:
Did you hurt yourself?

Jan Curtis:
Oh, it's just a little cut. I thought... I thought I saw something out there in the woods.

Mrs. Aylwood:
What sort of person are you?

Jan Curtis:
That's hard to say. Just average, I guess.

Mrs. Aylwood:
Are you adventurous? And kind? Are you kind?

Jan Curtis:
I... try to be.

Mrs. Aylwood:
And sensitive? Do you sense things?

Ellie Curtis:
Boy, Mrs. Aylwood sure is creepy.

Paul Curtis:
How comforting to know we're the "right sort of people."

Ellie Curtis:
I've seen the iciest of old ladies melted by your charm.

Mrs. Thayer:
I think it was your daughter who did the trick.

Ellie Curtis:

Mrs. Thayer:
No, dear, not you. [to Jan] She had a daughter about your age.

Jan Curtis:
Had?

Mrs. Thayer:
Mm, lost. Many years ago. Perhaps you reminded Mrs. Aylwood of her.

Jan Curtis:
Something awful happened here. I can feel it. Something awful.

Ellie Curtis:
She had to. She had to push you down to get you loose from the branch. She saved your life.

Jan Curtis:
Mr. Keller I had to see you, it's about Karen Aylwood.

John Keller:
What about Karen Aylwood?

Jan Curtis:
She needs help.

John Keller:
How would you know that?

Jan Curtis:
I've seen her.

John Keller:
Where?

Jan Curtis:
I'm mirrors!

John Keller:
Oh, mirrors. You say you see yourself as Karen?

Jan Curtis:
No! It was her image. Why was she blindfolded at the chapel? I've got to find out what happened that night, it's important to me.

John Keller:
Why dear? It's none of your business!

Jan Curtis:
Don't you see? She needs my help, she's trapped somewhere...

John Keller:
That's enough! I have better things to do than listen to hysterical fantasies. What happened to Karen was a tragedy that touched us all, changed us all and it's best forgotten.

Jan Curtis:
Have you ever forgotten?

John Keller:
Clear out of here!

Jan Curtis:
Mr. Keller, please!

Paul Curtis:
You know how old mirrors are. I never made a move yet without something getting broken.

Ellie Curtis:
Hey, that's seven years' bad luck!

Paul Curtis:
Nonsense. I broke a mirror the day I met your mother.

Helen Curtis:
