Theodore Tugboat

[repeated line spoken at the end of every episode]

Harbour Master:
Thanks for visiting us here in the Big Harbour, and we'll see you all again next time.

Hank:
[laughing at the whale following Theodore] He's just like a puppy.

Foduck:
The biggest puppy I've ever seen.

Hank:
Was it hard saying goodbye?

Theodore:
It wasn't *that* hard when i figured out that, I didn't lose a pet - I gained a friend.

Foduck:
Everything ship-shape, Donald? I mean, uh - dock-shape.

George:
I guess I'm the biggest Big Harbour Fool of them all.

Emily:
That flag means..."I am leaving for the ocean".

Foduck:
Right. It does mean "I am leaving for the ocean".

George:
I wish *I* was leaving.

Foduck:
What does this signal-flag mean? Theodore?

Theodore:
Let me think... I think it means "I'm dragging my anchor".

Foduck:
Very good.

George:
This class is dragging, too.

Hank:
My brain is sore from memorizing all those signals.

George:
I know what you mean - Foduck's class gives me a pain in the head too!

Digby:
Emily makes the best turns in the Big harbor! I get stuck just turnin' on me engine.

Theodore:
That's Digby. He's probably stuck again...

Theodore:
[not seeing why he called him] Digby! You're not...

Digby:
Stuck. I know, Theodore. I can hardly get over it meself.

Emily:
I am not doing another thing until you say please! I tried to tell you that I didn't have time to tie the rocket on properly, but you were in a big hurry. And now you're upset with me because we're late. Well, maybe the other tugboats are afraid of you, but I'm not.

Foduck:
Start slowing!

George:
Slowing!

Theodore:
Rainbow!

Foduck:
"Rainbow"? That's not what you're supposed to say, Theodore!

Emma Sophia:
[of Foduck] Is he... real?

Theodore:
Mostly.

Guysborough:
[being sprayed] AHHH, I'M MELTINNNG!

Foduck:
Theodore? Theodore, are you asleep?

Theodore:
[awoken by his spotlight] W-w-what is it? Fire? Uh, runaway oil-rig? Rocket-ship crash?

Foduck:
Ah, it's nothing. That's the whole problem.

Theodore:
But, Foduck - knowing you're there just makes us all feel safer.

Foduck:
Well, it doesn't feel safe to *me* when I'm not *doing* anything.

Bayswater:
We can't sleep.

Foduck:
Be calm and quiet.

Emily:
[of Foduck's firefighting foam everywhere] It was just like a snowstorm.

Theodore:
[laughing at George coated in it] And there's a snowman!

Dispatcher:
We were getting worried about you. In fact, we had almost given up the ghost.

Foduck:
Oh, I just inspected all the bell-buoys to make sure they were in their proper places. Wasn't very interesting.

Theodore:
You got to visit lots of places around the harbor. I bet *that* was interesting.

Foduck:
Well... while I was out near the sandy cove, I did see a big shoal of fish.

Hank:
A fish-school! Were they learning how to swim?

Hank:
How are you today?

Bedford:
Better than you, by the sound of it.

Theodore:
[still adjusting to the light Owen snapped on] At least now we won't have any trouble seeing.

Theodore:
Do you like working at night?

Owen:
I LOVE it! It's so peaceful and quiet. You can hear the waves lapping against the shore.

Theodore:
[whispering to Hank] All I can hear is Owen.

Dispatcher:
And I'm sure I wouldn't have snapped at you if I hadn't had this terrible, this - [sneezes] this terrible cold.

Hank:
[laughing] That's funny. Our tow-ropes wouldn't have snapped either, if the weather hadn't been so cold.

Foduck:
Mm=hm. It was a real cold snap.

Dispatcher:
This little trip will be your first step - uh, float, so to speak.

Owen:
Great bein' out here on the ocean, isn't it? So nice and quiet!

Theodore:
You know, the greatest thing I saw all day was you, Bedford.

Bedford:
I missed you too, Theodore. I guess next time you'll go really far.

Theodore:
Oh, maybe just a little way at a time.

Bedford:
That's OK, isn't it, Theodore?

Theodore:
Yes.

George:
Leave my friend alone!

Oliver:
[to Theodore] I guess you're the kind of tug who needs bigger tugs to fight for him.

George:
WE DON'T NEED YOU AT ALL!

George:
What a great sea-troller! I wonder where he came from.

Theodore:
Oh, you know him, George.

George:
I do?

Hank:
Well, you called him Squeaky, but his real name is Shamus.

Theodore:
He's feeling a little cranky today.

Guysborough:
I'll be in a worse mood tomorrow!

Guysborough:
Nobody ever says hello to me.

Theodore:
Yes, I-I suppose... that's true...

Guysborough:
And why do you suppose that is true?

Theodore:
Well... you do call everyone rotten.

Guysborough:
Well? What's that got to do with anything?

Digby:
Are you stuck, Theodore? You know that's usually my job around here.

Dispatcher:
What are you doing on top of that submarine?

Theodore:
I was just bringing him in.

George:
It looks, more like he's bringing *you* in.

Bedford:
I think you can do it! You did move that submarine, even though you thought you couldn't at first. I think you can move this ship!

Theodore:
Foduck, what's tomorrow, do you know?

Foduck:
Sure I know. One morrow, plus another morrow. That makes two morrows.

George:
I don't want to be out of the water. I'm not a bird.
