Toot & Puddle

Lilly:
[to a blueberry] You know, even though you are plump and ripe and delicious, you don't make very good playmates. I'm starting to miss my friends.

[a thunderstorm starts up and Lilly hides under the blueberry bush. That evening, Toot and Puddle have a chat inside their home]

Toot:
I think Lilly's gonna stay out there until she eats every last blueberry herself.

Puddle:
I know. But don't you miss playing with her?

Toot:
Sure, but if she won't leave that bush, Puds, what can we do?

Puddle:
If she won't come to our games, we should bring our games to her!

Lilly:
A postcard from Too. I was hopping by when the mailman came, so he gave it to me.

Puddle:
[reading the postcard] "Dear Puddle, I met the Chen Pandas and guess what. They invited me to perform with them. I can't wait to tell you all about it. Your pal, Too."

Lilly:
Toot's going to be one of the Tumbling Chens? How cool.

Toot:
[observing a sign] Whoa! Is it time for The Day in the Park Games already?

Puddle:
Yep! A whole day of games like log jumping, three-legged racing, water-balloon tossing. It's going to be super!

Tulip:
This year, I'm the judge. With my keen eyes,I won't miss a thing!

Puddle:
[observing Lilly crying] Lilly, what's wrong?

Lilly:
Everybody else is doing so well and... [sniffles] what if I don't make my jump?

Toot:
You're a super-duper jumper!

Lilly:
But I don't know if I can do it.

Dr. Ha Song:
Give it the best jump you can, that's all you have to do.

Puddle:
We both came to Tuscany to enjoy ourselves. So if you want to play football and I want to paint, we should each get to do what we like best!
