Trolls World Tour

[after Poppy destroys the guitar, rendering the strings destroyed, the colors vanishing and all the trolls who became rock zombies turned back to normal]

Poppy:
[notices Branch is okay] Branch! [drops the smashed guitar and runs to Branch]

Barb:
[shocked] No...

[Barb walks over to her destroyed guitar and snapped strings]

Barb:
My strings... [picks up some of the snapped strings which disintegrates; to Poppy] What have you done? You destroyed music! [to everyone] Give it up, everyone! Thanks to the Queen of Pop, we all lost our music! History repeats itself. Pop has ruined everything. [scowls]

[as Cooper uses the microphone to make everyone listen to his heartbeat from his glowing heart, as Prince D joins in by beatboxing to the melody]

Queen Essence:
Those are my sons... making music.

Poppy:
In the beginning, we were divided. Our ancestors thought we were just too different to get along. It turns out they were wrong. Very, very wrong.

Poppy:
A world where everyone looks the same and even sounds the same? That's not harmony!

Poppy:
A good queen listens. Real harmony takes lots of voices! DIFFERENT voices! (smashes Barb's guitar, causing all of the Trolls' colors to disappear)

Branch:
Yeah, it is sad. But... life is sad sometimes, so... I kinda like it.

Branch:
You wanna be a good queen? Good queens actually listen. You know what I heard back there? Differences do matter.

Branch:
So... why do I care about you more than anybody else in the world? Weird, right...?

Branch:
Wait-wait-wait-wait-wait!! Why does Barb get to decide which music gets to be saved? All music should be saved.

Branch:
This is a terrible idea that will most likely blow up in your face.

Branch:
I knew it. Who let the dogs out? Too far.

Branch:
Well, I heard fighting. The strings together leads to fighting.

Queen Barb:
[from trailer] I'm gonna unite the strings and destroy all music... EXCEPT FOR ROCK!!!!

Queen Barb:
Oh, but by the end of my world tour, we're all gonna have the same vibe. We're all gonna be one nation of trolls... under Rock!

Queen Barb:
History repeats itself: Pop has ruined everything.

[Poppy and Branch have just evacuated from the Funk Trolls’ spaceship as Queen Barb and her army start their assault on it. They watch the battle helplessly from their bubble.]

Poppy:
No! [grunts as she pushes their bubble] We have to get back down there! There's still hope we can still fix this!

Branch:
Poppy, enough! I've listened to you and I've done it your way, and now it's your turn to listen. It’s time to get back home.

Poppy:
I'm not like you. I can't just give up.

Branch:
Give up? I want to protect our friends and family!

Poppy:
I can't go home until I’ve proven myself as a good queen!

Branch:
So that's what this is really all about?

Poppy:
Why are you so upset?

Branch:
Because your dad was right, and Biggie was right and Queen Essence was right. And I've been backing you up even when you ignored them! [sadly turns away from Poppy and sighs] But you never listen to me.

Poppy:
Branch, what are you talking about?

Branch:
You want to be a good queen? Good queens actually listen. Know what I heard back there? Differences do matter, like... you and me. We're too different to get along, just like all the other Trolls.

[Their bubble lands and pops gently on the ground as they look at each other with disappointment for a moment. Then, Branch starts walking away from Poppy.]

Poppy:
We are really different.

Branch:
So different.

Poppy:
Completely out of harmony.

Branch:
Completely!

Poppy:
I don't even know why we're friends!

Branch:
Neither do I!

[Branch continues to walk off, but then he stops and hesitates for a moment.]

Branch:
So… why do I care about you more than anyone else in the world? [turns around to Poppy for a response, but she never answered him back] Weird... right? [finally proceeds to walk away into the woods, leaving Poppy heartbroken at his words.]

Cooper:
A pinky promise. Dang.

Biggie:
WHAT KIND OF A QUEEN BREAKS A PINKY PROMISE?!

Satin & Chenille:
We're on jumpsuit duty!

Legsly:
I love being me!

Guy Diamond:
Poppy, come quick! It's an emergency! [Poppy: Guy Diamond, what's wrong?] I'm having a... baby! [the Trolls scream]

Tiny Diamond:
We'll overpower them with muscles!

King Peppy:
There are other kinds of Trolls.

Riff:
[repeated line] Gnarly.

King Quincy:
Denying our differences is denying the truth of who we are.

Queen Essence:
Assemble the crew! [blows horn]

King Trollex:
We lose our string, we lose our music.

Delta Dawn:
That was a crime against music.

Trollzart:
We will not go quietly.

Chaz:
Smooth jazz will be heard again! Smooth jazz...will never DIE! [sinks into the river]

Hickory:
Gumdrops. Soundproof and delicious.

Dickory:
We must save yodeling!
