Widow:

Rick Tucker:
Right now I want to find my jacket.

Amanda Tucker:
Rick, what is with this jacket, huh? I'll buy you a new one.

Rick Tucker:
Honey, that's my lucky jacket. I wore it the night I asked you to marry me.

Amanda Tucker:
Oh, really? [happy]

Rick Tucker:
Yeah.

Amanda Tucker:
Which night was that?

Rick Tucker:
Ahhh, it was the night you said "Yes".

Rick Tucker:
He plans to blow us all up tonight, right Andre

Ellen Hobbes:
He wouldn't do that, would he?

Rick Tucker:
Oh, he would, Ellen, and he will. He's not here to eat your oatmeal cookies.

Woman Getting Hair Done:
You look like a nice kid. don't end up as another notch on his belt.

Amanda Tucker:
Notch? How many notches does he have?

Woman Getting Hair Done:
With Justin, you don't count the notches, you count the belts.

Rick Tucker:
Now, we're talking about money here, now how much? Ten grand? [asking the price on Justin's head]

Eddie Gibson:
Try fifty big ones.

Rick Tucker:
Fifty grand? For a hair dresser? Ew, talk about inflation. What kind of a special hit do you get for fifty grand? What do they do - gift wrap him?

Rick Tucker:
I want names, M.O.'s, everything you can get me on assassins who command fifty-thousand dollars.

Marcia Fulbright:
Anything else?

Rick Tucker:
Yes, pastrami sandwich, french fries, and a piece of cheesecake.

Marcia Fulbright:
From Interpol?

Rick Tucker:
No, try the deli first; Interpol makes lousy fries.

Rick Tucker:
Sometimes I think maybe we should just chuck it all and move up here where life is simple, people are straight-forward and friendly. [looking around at landscape of a small town]

Merrill:
Now who the hell are they? [looking out a restaurant window at Rick and Amanda]

Amanda Tucker:
Well, it looks like we get to work together again.

Lt. Sean Fisk:
I'll try to contain my joy.

Amanda Tucker:
Ah, honey, what is a-a modem? [confused about it, in a school computer lab]

Rick Tucker:
Ummm, well, a modem is a - it's the computer link with the outside world.

Amanda Tucker:
Don't be frightened, we won't hurt you.

Holly:
Who are you?

Rick Tucker:
We're detectives.

Holly:
Detectives?

Rick Tucker:
Um hum.

Holly:
Really? Like Magnum?

Rick Tucker:
Boy, back in my day...

Amanda Tucker:

Rick Tucker:
Yeah, in the cave.

Rick Tucker:
I found some cereal. [speaking of pieces of picked off the kitchen floor]

Lt. Sean Fisk:
Terrific, Tucker. With that vital piece of detection we can wrap up our investigation. [with sarcasm]

Lt. Sean Fisk:
Oh, ah - my men aren't getting in your way, are they? [sarcastically to Rick, who is in the midst of a crime scene investigation]

Rick Tucker:
Ah, no, they've been perfect gentlemen.

Lt. Sean Fisk:
Oh, good. Good. I'll put nice little notes in their files. Go on, get out of here, will ya? [motioning for him to leave]

Rick Tucker:
Who ever it is that's in there knows we're here.

Amanda Tucker:
Whoever it is that's in there is as frightened as we are.

Rick Tucker:
We? We're not frightened.

Amanda Tucker:
Then why are you skulking along the wall?

Rick Tucker:
PRactice. I skulk to stay in shape.

Ellen Hobbes:
I-I-I think you'll really like him. I mean I, ah... what if you don't? Like him.

Rick Tucker:
Ellen,

Ellen Hobbes:
What?

Rick Tucker:
We'll like him.

Ellen Hobbes:
You will?

Rick Tucker:
Even if we hate him.

Dr. Wayne Harris:
Stanley, will you get this man out of here, please?

Rick Tucker:
Stanley, this man has stolen artifacts that rightfully belong to another country and he is a murderer. Now, we have to search this place right now.

Dr. Wayne Harris:
Stanley, if you don't do what I say, I'll get you fired. Think about it, Stanley, there's a recession out there...

Amanda Tucker:
You don't have much to go on, do you, Lieutenant Fisk?

Lt. Sean Fisk:
Ah, no, but I feel a whole lot better knowing you two are on board. [with some light sarcasm]

Amanda Tucker:
Thank you.

Lt. Sean Fisk:
Tell me, ah, any of your famous insights?

Amanda Tucker:
No, no, not yet, but I'm working on it.

Lt. Sean Fisk:
Ah huh. Well, that's good. But do me a favor: if you decide the murder weapon is at the bottom of the La Brea Tar Pits like last time, just keep it to yourself, I'm still trying to live that one down.
