Dr. Jeff Cameron:
[drinking a cocktail in a Hawaiian restaurant] These things are like water!

Waiter:
They creep up on you.

Dr. Jeff Cameron:
[derisively] Bring me a couple more.

Waiter:
But, sir, you have four and we are only allowed two to a customer.

Dr. Jeff Cameron:
Why?

Waiter:
That drink makes a guy talk back to his mother-in-law.

Dr. Jeff Cameron:
What about his father-in-law?

Waiter:
I suppose so.

Dr. Jeff Cameron:
You've given me an idea.

Frederick Lannington:
So you're quite sure of your feelings? I mean, you know, sometimes people get... carried away, come to their senses again with a jolt.

Dr. Jeff Cameron:
Mr. Lannington, I wanna marry your daughter.

Frederick Lannington:
I wish you'd stop calling her my daughter. She happens to be my wife!

Frederick Lannington:
If you take her, it's a long road! There's no turning back!

Margo Lannington:
Oh, Jeff, take me away now!

Frederick Lannington:
'Now' can be a long time, Dr. Cameron, but time passes, and then there's the end of the line!

Dr. Jeff Cameron:
[rubbing his head] My head hurts. Feels like it's exploding. [looking out the car window] Aren't we going pretty fast?

Margo Lannington:
We need to go fast!

Margo Lannington:
Poverty's sordid!

Margo Lannington:
I won't leave you. I'll be with you always.

Dr. Jeff Cameron:
Yeah, well, 'always' won't be for long if we don't get rid of this car!

Margo Lannington:
Nobody pities me - nobody!

Postville Police Chief:
If you ask me, that guy was none too anxious to get hitched.

Bogardus, Postville J.P.:
How many of them are?

Dr. Jeff Cameron:
It all fits in, all the symptoms. I didn't fall in love with a woman - I fell in love with a patient.
