Raymond Zar is a Canadian businessman, investor and developer who currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Toronto-based Roehampton Capital. Under his leadership, Roehampton has become a formidable real estate private equity firm and attracted capital from all five of Canada’s largest banks. Prior to Roehampton Capital, Raymond served as the Chief Operating Officer of Skyline Investments - a billion-dollar publicly-traded company with assets across 18 cities in North America and over 2,000 employees. Skyline’s notable assets include Deerhurst and Horseshoe Resorts, Blue Mountain Village, and the Cleveland Renaissance. During his tenure, Skyline’s stock price doubled in value, and it won the Deloitte Best Managed Companies award. Before Skyline Investments, Raymond was the Chief Executive Officer of M Corp - a consumer services and real estate development company with five divisions operating in the travel, home services, hotels and development industries. During his tenure, M Corp ranked as one of Canada's fastest-growing companies by Canadian Business Magazine. Recognized as a strategic leader with a proven record of accomplishment for creating value and formulating creative solutions, Raymond is a highly sought-after corporate Director and serves on the Boards of private companies and non-profit organizations. He is also a senior adviser to the UHNW and is frequently consulted by family offices across Canada. Raymond is the past winner of the PROFIT500 award and was invited to join the coveted Forbes Business Council as a member and contributor. In addition to Forbes, he regularly publishes opinion pieces on Medium and engages in vigorous open debate on politics, history and economics. Raymond graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree from Ivey Business School at Western University.
