The Scriptures teach that those who lose their lives for Christ will find them, while those who gain the world may lose their souls. While God does bless people, His grace is not uniform; it manifests differently for each individual. Many disciples lost their worldly possessions while serving. Remember, those who preach the true gospel of Christ His death, resurrection, and the victory over death will face persecution. If Christ Himself was persecuted, His followers should expect the same.
