Rent Soundtrack

Rent was the 2005 film adaptation of the Broadway musical of the same name, Rent, detailing the struggles of a group of young friends in the East Village area of New York City in the late-1980s. The film, directed by Chris Columbus, had most of the original Broadway cast members reprising their original roles, with the exception of the actresses who played Joanne and Mimi. It was released on November 23, 2005.
