I thought this poem was well structured with the couplets. While some of the lines were lengthy (14 syllables), the poem moved along easily. While many poems about mothers are sentimental, this poem avoids this by keeping the writer in the background and by centering the reader's attention on God, who being true to His nature, creates a thing of beauty and perfection. more »
