Does anyone remember a saying that began "If you're going to ride with Hoppy, you ..."? I remember my Mom admonishing me this way, but I was utterly clueless what she was trying to say, probably bc I had no idea who "Hoppy" was! I don't remember the rest of the expression. I think Mom finally explained that she was saying if you hang out with certain people, you have to accept the consequences of their actions. (I was in high school at the time, so ... yeah.)
