We will only accept it when we are fully satisfied that it can operate efficiently and safely at Qatar operations (and) ... once we get sufficient performance guarantees and undertakings from both Airbus and Pratt & Whitney, we are at the threshold of the walk-away clause in our contract, but I hope we will not have to exercise this.

I told him this aircraft needs a fuel( efficiency) improvement of 10-15 percent and this would really sell the numbers he expected with the current Airbus A380, this will have to be a joint effort between( the) engine manufacturer and Airbus, it's not just the airframe that is the issue, it's the fuel burn, which is coming from the engine.

I think domestic airlines in India are inefficiently run. The only one efficiently run is IndiGo. If we have the opportunity to acquire a stake in IndiGo we shall be very pleased to do so.
