BLM is more concerned with promoting extreme anti-police rhetoric than in improving conditions for black Americans, polling consistently shows that blacks bear the greatest burden of violent crime victimization. BLM’s childish tweets ignore the fact that the majority of black Americans appreciate the work of law enforcement and would actually like to see more policing, not less.

The only reason that we're talking about critical race theory is because Glenn Youngkin had 18 months to convince people that Glenn Youngkin was not a fire-breathing horns out of Glenn Youngkin skull racist. You can only talk about critical race theory if you present yourself as the kind of neutral white guy who’s like, ‘ I don't dislike brown people, I just think this is going a little too far. ’ So it only works if you've been able to present yourself as neutral or non-hostile on race issues. This is an encouraging move. Certainly, it doesn't satisfy every concern with policing consent decrees, but an incremental move in the right direction, under Obama admin these consent decrees ballooned in scope exponentially and do a much better job at adding to monitors' personal wealth than anything else. They MUST be significantly more narrow and pragmatic to have any hope of realizing their stated goal.

And I said that's simple: You don't have to do it on the stage, but you clearly stand there and remind people that 'tonight is not a reflection of the ideas, the issues, the vision, etc. But clearly we now have to pull back and pray and think about who we throw our support behind in order to reignite the promise of America -- because clearly it ain't me.'.

As entertaining as it was during the last debate -- and frankly as therapeutic it was for people, myself included -- to watch Marco engage in his old locker room glory days of trading insults and following up the next week talking about the size of Donald Trump's hands -- it's not going to get the job done, what's going to get the job done is contrasting in a presidential way with Donald Trump.

Last night, when we were going through the different scenarios on what might occur, the senator asked what if we lose Texas, and I said that's simple: You don't have to do it on the stage, but you clearly stand there and remind people that 'tonight is not a reflection of the ideas, the issues, the vision, etc. But clearly we now have to pull back and pray and think about who we throw our support behind in order to reignite the promise of America -- because clearly it ain't me.'.
