  So, if she had hung herself, would you blame her access to rope? Don't blame guns or access to guns. Blame your mother. Maybe blame the circumstances that led her to decide to end her life. But her access to a gun is no more to blame than her access to high bridge, a rope, a toaster and a bathtub, a bottle of pills, etc. Gun or no gun she mostly likely still would have done the same.
