It is difficult to monitor Paul's health and welfare when the FSIN prison authorities will not respond to any requests for information. The prison has ignored diplomatic notes sent by The US Embassy to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and which were, apparently, relayed. They have ignored requests from Paul's lawyers.

I think it was his friend who is a Russian FSB Officer who thought he could get a promotion by selling out a friend and who entrapped Paul for his own benefit, paul has actually suggested -- according to Russian media -- during the trial that he had loaned this FSB officer money and this FSB officer didnt want to pay him back.

My understanding is that he was responsible for looking at the physical security of sites for his employer, to make sure that things couldn't be stolen or be broken into, to remove the opportunities for people to have access to things they shouldn't have access to, but it wasn't cybersecurity. It wasn't body-guard type of security. It was much more about the physical plant.
