They (the U.S) will be concerned about the freeloading off the hard work Washington has done in having 'hard talk' with China's leaders, but as long as the UK can say that in creating a more equitable and sustainable economic relationship with China they will bring about better quality dialogue with China on other issues, then that's something the British and Americans can overcome.
