Had they relied on privately raised money for that endeavor, I don’t think anybody would’ve had a problem with it, but in fact they sought a variety of tax breaks and special tax incentives from the state of Kentucky and that put it in the position of essentially underwriting evangelism efforts with taxpayer money.
