Carlos Javier Correa Oppenheimer (born September 22, 1994) is a Puerto Rican professional baseball shortstop for the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball (MLB). The Astros selected Correa with the first overall selection of the 2012 MLB draft. Correa made his MLB debut in 2015, and won the American League (AL) Rookie of the Year Award.
