And what I've learned over the course of the race is people feel like the status quo in New York is broken, it's given us the license to both be the serious campaign with policy positions for the future, but also to be the light at the end of the tunnel.

Patel is a member of the Democratic party, and is a candidate for the newly-created 12th congressional district in Manhattan, New York City.
