Raumesh Aleza Akbari (ruh-MESH ack-BERRY) (born April 14, 1984) is an American politician and member of the Tennessee Senate for the 29th district since 2019. She was formerly a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives for the 91st district. She currently serves as a member of the Education Committee, Commerce and Labor Committee, Energy, Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee and the Ethics Subcommittee.
