The company made scientifically unsupported claims that its pillows could cure insomnia and ailments such as sleep apnea, fibromyalgia, and multiple sclerosis. In 2022, it was sued along with Lindell by election technology company Smartmatic for allegedly making false claims about Smartmatic voting machines in order to promote its products.
