No, of course not. This ship is no more likely to sink than St Paul's Cathedral. Although they're always mucking about with that.

Clara Tate-Hughes:
I'm not going to give way to panic as long as the ship's perfectly safe.

Betty Tate-Hughes:
I'm not going to move for anyone.

John Rool:

Betty Tate-Hughes:

Clara Tate-Hughes:

John Rool:

Capt. Collins:

Capt. Collins:
See? [points to a child alone on the flooded deck] . Do you think you could make the last boat? Then the child would be saved... even if there wasn't room for you.

Lanchester:
I understand, Sir.

Capt. Collins:

John Rool:
Hello, Tate-Hughes. Seen your women off?

Freddie Tate-Hughes:
No. I haven't. Neither wife nor daughter will go. The wife won't leave her luggage or the dresses she bought in Paris. Betty's merely rude.

John Rool:
Better make 'em go.

Freddie Tate-Hughes:
I can't. They won't listen to me. They're huffy about something.

John Rool:
Mrs Lilly, hmmm?

Freddie Tate-Hughes:
Something like that.

John Rool:
Anyhow, if you still love your wife and daughter, you'd better get them to the boats without delay.

Freddie Tate-Hughes:
Why? The ship's quite safe, isn't it?

John Rool:
Oh, yes... for a couple of hours.

Lawrence:
Come along, Monica, darling. There's nothing to worry about. The ship's perfectly safe.

Monica:
I know there's something wrong. They're calling for help. That's what they're doing. They're not sending me away on a boat and keeping you back are they? Are they?

Lawrence:
No, of course not, darling.

Monica:
Lawrie, this isn't the end - not so soon, is it? [sobs] Oh, my darling [they clasp each other] . The ship isn't sinking, is it?
