Lt. Roy Cahill:
Is that Kane's boat?

Capt. Bronson:
No, it belongs to Edie West, one of Kane's playmates.

Lt. Roy Cahill:

Capt. Bronson:
She sings at the Tic-Tac-Toe Club.

Lt. Roy Cahill:
Expensive boat for a singer in a third-rate night club.

Capt. Bronson:
Well, a third-rate singer, a first-rate playmate.

Lt. Roy Cahill:
Oh... fun and profit with Benjie Kane.

[Cahill sees Edie's boat anchored a quarter mile off-shore]

Lt. Roy Cahill:
Skipper, I'd like to borrow a pair of swim trunks.

Sgt. Miller:
You're not going to swim out there!

Lt. Roy Cahill:

Lt. Roy Cahill:
Well, she led us to the murder weapon, maybe she'll lead us to the murderer.

Capt. Bronson:

Lt. Roy Cahill:

[Jason points a gun at Edie]

Edie West:
Aw, you wouldn't use that here. You wouldn't dare!

Jason:
You know, taking care of Kane was just a paying job - with you it's pleasure.

[the Beach Patrol has arrested Edie for conspiracy to commit murder]

Lt. Roy Cahill:
Save your strength, Edie.

Edie West:
The music lover - you're a cop, huh? I don't sing for cops.

[last lines]

[the chief of police has just informed Lt. Cahill he has been transfered to the Beach Patrol]

Lt. Roy Cahill:
Beach Patrol - a police lieutenant in a lifeguard outfit. How do you like that?

Capt. Bronson:
How do *you* like it?

[Bronson indicates two beautiful woman strolling along the sand]

Lt. Roy Cahill:
Well, a consciencious cop has got to take the good with the bad.

[Bronson hands Cahill a pair of Beach Patrol swim trunks]

Capt. Bronson:
