Kelly Severide:
[Hands Casey a wine bottle] My dad wanted me to drop that off, his way of apologising for you catching that elbow.

Matthew Casey:

Kelly Severide:
All right, well I'll see you at the House.

Heather Darden:
[From within] Do you have any mouthwash?

Matthew Casey:
[the atmosphere becomes tense] It's not what you... [Severide walks to his car in disdain]

Matthew Casey:

Kelly Severide:
Yeah. I'm sure you've got it all figured out. [Drives away]

Matthew Casey:
Heather Darden and me, we're just friends. She came over to talk and fell asleep on my couch.

Kelly Severide:
Right. Got it.

Matthew Casey:
I don't know what you want me to say here.

Kelly Severide:
I saw what I saw, Casey. Sell your clean boy act to someone else cos I ain't buying it.

Kelly Severide:
What speeches?

Otis:
It's a dead house, you're throwing your career away, all you're going to do is sell t-shirts...

Kelly Severide:

Otis:

Kelly Severide:
[Sees Ernie at the scene of another fire] Hey! Hey, did you torch this place? Huh, you little tweaker?

Ernie:

Kelly Severide:

Chief Wallace Boden:
Kelly! Enough! [Ernie cycles away]

Kelly Severide:

Chief Wallace Boden:

Joe Cruz:

Joe Cruz:

Leon Cruz:

Leslie Shay:

Kelly Severide:

Gabriela Dawson:
They tried to kill Antonio. And for all I know they may still want to finish the job. Plus all those OD's, I didn't...

Matthew Casey:
Voight tried to take me out! He's a liar, and a crook.

Gabriela Dawson:

Chief Wallace Boden:
[Walks Casey into his office, where Severide is waiting, then sits down] This animosity, it's gotta stop. You're both supposed to be leaders here, you lead by example. We've all been through it. Andy was a friend to all of us.

Kelly Severide:
[Glares at Casey] Yeah he was.

Matthew Casey:
Is there something you want to say?

Chief Wallace Boden:
See this? This right here. This is exactly what I'm talking about.

Kelly Severide:
[With a smirk] You're right chief. I'm sorry, it's all good.

Matthew Casey:
[after glancing at Severide for a second] We're fine chief.

Chief Wallace Boden:
[Clearly not believing them] Then that's enough for now.

Peter Mills:
[Demonstrating fire equipment to kids] See, this house is special because it has a Rescue Squad, Squad 3 serves a big piece of this city. [Severide grins at the kids] They're excellent in water rescue, extraction, pretty much everything. They're like the best of the best.

Little girl:
Why aren't you with them?

Peter Mills:
Well, I mean - I plan to be. My father was a member of the squad years ago

Matthew Casey:
Mills, right? Last to show, first to go. That's the Rescue Squad.

Kelly Severide:
Your truck guys do such a good job getting everything ready for us, why would we want to take that away from you?

Matthew Casey:
[laughs] Kids, you should know they make the Rescue helmets extra big to fit their heads inside.

Kelly Severide:
There are two types of fire fighters, those who are on Squad and those who wish they were on Squad. [Points to Casey]

Matthew Casey:
Oooh.

Peter Mills:
[Bewildered by the animosity] Come on kids [Leads them away]

Kelly Severide:
[Points to Mills] Bet I get an application from him by the end of the month.

Matthew Casey:
[Shrugs] He wants you, you can have him.

Kelly Severide:
[after Casey made a mistake on the job] Hey, the guy in the water? How about a guy with his head up his ass.

Matthew Casey:
You handle your fire fighters, I'll handle mine.

Kelly Severide:
That's a good theory, Casey. How about giving it a try.

Matthew Casey:
[Striding towards Severide] You know what, I'm getting real tired of your bull, Severide.

Kelly Severide:

Matthew Casey:
[he approaches Severide after he rejected Casey's food] What the hell is going on? Are you okay? Because if you're not, maybe you need to take...

Kelly Severide:

Matthew Casey:

Kelly Severide:

Matthew Casey:
I cleaned out Darden's locker. [pause, before glancing at Severide angrily] You should have vented the back.

Kelly Severide:
We're called the Rescue Squad, Casey. We don't vent. You shouldn't have put Andy through the window. [pause] I don't have to explain myself to you. I sleep like a baby... You?

Chief Wallace Boden:
[Sees Hank Voight arriving in his police car] Kelly! [Nods his head to Casey]

Chief Wallace Boden:
[to Voight] You've no reason to be here.

Hank Voight:
I'm collecting gang intel, chief. Big blue tag like that, gotta make sure doesn't spark a turf war.

Chief Wallace Boden:
[Points to the graffiti] Seen it. Now leave.

Hank Voight:
You might want to take a step back there, I don't want to charge you, or one of your men, with interfering with police investigation.

Chief Wallace Boden:
Yeah. [to his crew] Pack it up! We're outta here. [They all start to walk away]

Hank Voight:
Oh hey! Casey! You've got your deposition tomorrow...

Kelly Severide:
[Patting Casey on the back to get him moving] Come on, let's go.

Hank Voight:
...Is that cute little fianc?e of yours going to be there too? I've gotta tell you, the other night when we were talking, she seemed kinda - I don't know - shut down, but by the end she really started to open up.

Matthew Casey:
[He rushes towards Voight but Severide, Hermann and Otis hold him back] Your day is coming... Your day is coming Voight!

Matthew Casey:
[Checking his phone, almost getting run over. Shouts at the driver] Hey! What was that? Huh? No, you've got to wait. Roger that? Go on.

Chief Wallace Boden:
Casey. Your shift is over.

Matthew Casey:
Oh, come on chief!

Chief Wallace Boden:
No no no go home. Head for the house, whatever you want, but you are done for today.

Kelly Severide:
[Sees Truck coming in, no Casey] Where's Casey? [Hermann shrugs]

Kelly Severide:
[Goes to see Chief] Chief...

Chief Wallace Boden:
I am not taking anymore chances.

Kelly Severide:
He's doing the right thing, and he's getting his ass kicked for it.

Chief Wallace Boden:
You don't think I know that?

Kelly Severide:
He needs to be here, where we can keep an eye on him.

Chief Wallace Boden:
Kelly, I've tried that already.

Kelly Severide:
So he's better off out there? By himself, pissed off, not thinking straight...

Chief Wallace Boden:
This is a *Fire House*. Any man who walks through that door, he gotta be ready, if he isn't he's going to be walking in the other direction. [pause] Because I am a chief first, and I am a friend second. Casey's just going to have to find his own way from now on.

Hadley:
[Squad table are playing cards. They see Casey walking to Chief's office] Uh oh.

Kelly Severide:
Nah, all good.

Hadley:
How'd you know?

Kelly Severide:
That's an 'I'm with the programme' kind of walk.

Kelly Severide:
[Casey is trapped in a room with 2 occupants, holding back the door from bursting open with fire. Severide is on the ladder] We're coming for you, Casey.

Matthew Casey:
Better make it fast! It's getting hot in here.

Kelly Severide:
All right, tell them to stand in three, two, one.

Matthew Casey:
Curtis, get your mum up. [Curtis' mum is safely taken out]

Kelly Severide:
[to Casey] Come on!

Matthew Casey:
Not until he's out.

Kelly Severide:
[Curtis is on the ladder] All right, your turn!

Matthew Casey:
No way! Not until you're out of range.

Kelly Severide:
Not moving. Let go, *now*!

Matthew Casey:
All right, here I come!

Otis:
You haven't said two words to me all morning.

Joe Cruz:
What, now I'm not allowed to be contemplative and asocial?

Otis:
No, you're not. You're supposed to be dense and loveable.

Joe Cruz:

Otis:

Joe Cruz:

Otis:

Gabriela Dawson:
Hey, are you hurt buddy? [Leon is grimacing in pain from the bullet wound]

Joe Cruz:
[Shocked to see his brother] Leon? What the hell are you doing here, Leon?

Otis:
Wait, you know this guy?

Gabriela Dawson:

Leon Cruz:
[Dawson presses down too hard] Chill.

Gabriela Dawson:

Joe Cruz:

[Dawson leaves. Cruz looks around, then flings the gauze away and picks his brother up to carry him] To hell with this.

Leon Cruz:
Don't. You'll tread me, fam.

Otis:
Cruz... What's going on?

Matthew Casey:
[Cruz rushes towards the fire engine] What are you doing?

Leon Cruz:
Take it easy, yo!

Matthew Casey:
Cruz!

Joe Cruz:
He's my brother.

Joe Cruz:
[On the phone] Leon! Hey, you picked up. How are you feeling?

Leon Cruz:
Terrible, yo. They said they're keeping me overnight for a test or something.

Joe Cruz:
Yeah, I'm sure that's only a precaution. Hey, listen, I get off my shift at 8am so I'm gonna come pick you up.

Leon Cruz:
Yo, if you're gonna be all up on me, I'll just take the bus.

Joe Cruz:
No BS. No speeches. I just wanna get you home.

Leon Cruz:
Fine. 8am.

Joe Cruz:
