[as Mandrake sends Kshin's uneaten plate of dinner and the one of cake to the sink, he grabs the dessert] L.J.

L.J.:
[chuckling] No sense in wasting good food.

Mandrake the Magician:
Magic, my friends, is simply the art of illusions. Of course it's always important to spice up illusions with a little razzle-dazzle.

Flash Gordon:
What on Earth is that?

The Phantom:
The answer, my friend, is not of this Earth.

Flash Gordon:

Jedda Walker:
I like Central City very much, but - sometimes, I miss the excitement of the jungle.

Lothar:
[traps Shogauth in cloud-form with his magnified energy] Every cloud has its silver lining.

Guran:

Jedda Walker:

The Phantom:

26th Phantom:

Young Kurt Walker:
[snatching his mask] You just wait! I'll show you I'm worthy! I'll make you pay for this, Kit! [runs off]

Young Kit Walker:
[reaching after him] Kurt -!

26th Phantom:
No! Let him go. Kurt must find his own destiny.

Jedda Walker:
[Kurt uses a blast of wind against Kit] My grandfather was right! You never will be worthy to be The Phantom.

The Phantom:
I hoped the years would have given you wisdom. I see they haven't. I'm sorry for you.

N'dama:
You think you can hide from one who controls light?

N'dama:
[seeing the pictures of his ancestors lining the wall in Skull Cave] Stop it! Stop staring at me! I could have been a better Phantom than any of you!

N'dama:
This is my moment of triumph!

26th Phantom:
[emerging from the photo of him with his sons] Triumph? This is your moment of shame.

N'dama:
[the Phantom removes his hood] No! No one may see my face! No one!

Guran:
Don't think of me; destroy the demon.

The Phantom:
[sighs] What do you want, Kurt?

Jedda Walker:
Dad, you can't.

The Phantom:
With all these people's lives at stake, I have no choice.

Jedda Walker:
Then let me go to the mountain ahead of you. I'll make sure it's a fair race.

The Phantom:
Not this time, Jedda. This is something between Kurt Walker and Kit Walker.

The Phantom:
[vaults off the cliff he forced him to hang off of to grab his ankles and be carried across the gap] Thanks for the ride, brother.

Flash Gordon:
You murdered my wife!

Ming the Merciless:
And I promise the same fate for you, Flash Gordon.

Flash Gordon:
[being fired upon] Now comes the fun part.

Morlag:
This is your idea of fun?

Flash Gordon:
Watch this. Just like shooting ducks in a - Uh-oh. Our defense systems are gone.

Morlag:

Flash Gordon:
We will in a minute. Hold onto your scales. There's a place down in the moon I once used for piloting practice. Corkscrew Canyon.

Morlag:
[Flash weaves through the canyon causing Ming's chasing ships to explode against its walls] Can I look now?

Flash Gordon:
You're missing all the fun.

Flash Gordon:
We've just got one more of Ming's little playmates to shake. And there's how we'll do it. The Devil's Keyhole. Tell me this isn't fun now.

Morlag:
Hope we make it to Monitor without having any more fun. I've had my fun quota for the week.

Kshin:
Ah, nothing's too dangerous for a Defender of the Earth. Besides, think what a great geology lesson an underwater volcano would be.

Lothar:
I wonder if a caterpillar has this kind of trouble, learning to be a butterfly.

Mandrake the Magician:
[offering him a screwdriver he created] Here, my friend. Maybe this will be of some help.

Lothar:
[it vanishes from his hand] Very funny.

Ming the Merciless:

Kshin:

Ming the Merciless:

Ming the Merciless:
[the adult Defenders have arrived just after Rick, Jedda, and L.J. have baffled him with constant elluding] Where are you? Show yourselves!

Flash Gordon:
We're right here, Ming.

L.J.:
And we're over here too.

Mandrake the Magician:
[No matter which way he turns, he sees one of the groups] We're everywhere, Ming.

Ming the Merciless:
AHH! I'll destroy you!

The Phantom:
[watching him shoot - at no one] Are you casting any illusions, Mandrake?

Mandrake the Magician:
No. Ming is hallucinating.

Kshin:
I just knew you were a hero.

Rick Gordon:
No, Kshin, you're the hero. You had the guts to say no to drugs. You were brave enough for both of us.
