Dr. Michaela 'Mike' Quinn:
[Sully and Dr Mike are in their bedroom. Sully has just taken off his shirt] Haven't you noticed she's been acting differently.

Byron Sully:
[Sully starts to unlace one of Dr Mike's boots] She's growing up.

Dr. Michaela 'Mike' Quinn:
She says that all her friends are allowed to do the things we won't permit her to do.

Byron Sully:
Like what?

Dr. Michaela 'Mike' Quinn:
Like the hayride tonight.

Byron Sully:
[Sully moves on to the next boot] Did you ever go on a hayride?

Dr. Michaela 'Mike' Quinn:
We didn't have them in Boston.

Byron Sully:
Somethin' like it? [Sully takes off Dr Mike's socks and starts to caress her legs and feet]

Dr. Michaela 'Mike' Quinn:
My feet are cold.

Byron Sully:
Won't be for long.

Dr. Michaela 'Mike' Quinn:
[Sully is still caressing and now kissing Dr Mike's feet and legs] Colleen is so young. Oh that's nice. [getting a foot massage] I... I... I don't feel she's ready to be running around.

Byron Sully:
Can we talk about this some other time?

Dr. Michaela 'Mike' Quinn:
She knows so little.

Byron Sully:
She's delivered a baby, She's sewn up a bullet would.

Dr. Michaela 'Mike' Quinn:
Yes, in medicine she is commandant beyond her years, but in other things she is very naive. [ Dr Mike is losing her concentration as Sully is kissing her toes] As I was.

Dr. Michaela 'Mike' Quinn:
[Sully moves up to Dr Mike's blouse and starts to unbutton it. They kiss.Dr Mike's blouse comes off her shoulders and Sully looks at her longingly. There is a knock on the door. Sigh] Yes?

Brian Cooper:
I need you to help me with my essay.

Dr. Michaela 'Mike' Quinn:
Um, I'll... I'll help you tomorrow [Dr Mike is distracted by Sully advances] We're tired now.

Brian Cooper:
But Ma.

Dr. Michaela 'Mike' Quinn:
I'll wake you up early. We'll get your paper done [Sully is still caressing Dr Mike] All right?

Brian Cooper:
All right.

Byron Sully:
Good Night, Brian. [Sully snickers]

Dr. Michaela 'Mike' Quinn:
You're looking very pleased with yourself.

Byron Sully:
When the children knock and you don't jump up I KNOW I got your attention. [ They kiss]

Byron Sully:
[Dr Mike walks into the new homestead and puts Snowbird's present on the mandel. As Dr Mike curiously removes a quilt from a carved headboard] It's supposed to be a surprise... It's your weddin' present.

Dr. Michaela 'Mike' Quinn:
Sully, it's so beautiful!

Byron Sully:
It will be when its finished.

Byron Sully:
I figured we'd need a bed. [Sully tries to kiss her]

Dr. Michaela 'Mike' Quinn:
May I watch you work?

Byron Sully:
Sure... Here sit on this [Sully lays out the quilt]

Dr. Michaela 'Mike' Quinn:
[Sully starts to work on the headboard] I've been thinking how lucky we are to have this house. I can't imagine having to suddenly pack up and leave everything. They've been gone a week but it feels like they've been gone a year now.

Byron Sully:
I miss them too.

Dr. Michaela 'Mike' Quinn:
Think they'll be alright?

Byron Sully:
They should be at Fort Cobb by now. Once Custer got his fill of chasin' Dog Soldiers. He'll move on and they'll be back.

Dr. Michaela 'Mike' Quinn:
Sometimes I can't help but wonder if you wished you could have gone along with them. I mean they have been your family for so long now.

Byron Sully:
Cheyenne are my family. They always will be. [Sully moves toward Dr Mike] So are you. When are you going to understand my heart is yours now. [They kiss passionately falling to the floor]

Dr. Michaela 'Mike' Quinn:
You better get back to work or we'll never have a bed. [ Both giggle]

Byron Sully:
You're so beautiful.

Dr. Michaela 'Mike' Quinn:
I never believed I could be this happy. I love you so much! [They laugh and kiss]
